CCleaner is an utility to keep your system running at peak performance.
It has four sections, each of them with specific features:
1) Cleaner: Here you can search for unused or unwanted files left behind for Windows and Applications, such as temporary files, cookies, CHKDSK files fragments,etc) and wipe them, recovering disk space.
2) Registry: It checks the integrity of the registry, removing unused or obsolete entries.
3) Tools: In this section, you can uninstall every desired program. You will find that the "Installed Programs" list is bigger than the one displayed by the Control Panel in Windows. If CCleaner can´t uninstall a program, you still have the option to rename or delete the entry for that program. Also, you can remove programs from the list of programs loaded at Startup. That will speed up the startup process and the performance of your computer, since there will be less memory usage, and then more speed.
4) Options: Here you will be able to determine your preferences for the program performance: settings, cookies to delete or keep, custom files to delete, files and folders to exclude, and so on.

Powerful and fast. It can analyze what it will do beforehand so you can see if you really need to run it. It keeps a log of what
and how much it cleans. It will safe erase, not just delete, if you want it to. I just love programs like this, where it feels
like something you would design for yourself if you could, only better. And it's free. A+.

I'm no pc wizard!!!!...but my pc was runiing very slowly . Found this program by coincidence and installed it - WHOMM ! my pc is
now fast and works beautifully . I use the programme everyday at the end of each session and gets rid of all the junk that
otherwise would clutter your disk. Give it a try and hope will work also for you.

Excellent tool to maintain your system.
I would recommend using a separate tool for registry clean/repair operations, especially if you are not an expert.

This seems to be a fairly safe registry cleaner that I have seen recommended by a lot of people at web sites where people have
been having trouble with their computer.
It also cleanes temporary files, cookies etc.
