Enable Active Monitoring in CCleaner

CCleaner normally runs in the background automatically, but there is an option to enable Active Monitoring. This function allows CCleaner to monitor your system for any updates or new releases, so you don't have to worry about keeping up to date. Active Montoring can be disabled, and the program can be returned to the regular mode.

  • In CCleaner, click Options > Monitoring.
  • Enable System Monitoring by unchecking Enable System Monitoring.
  • Enable Active Monitoring by checking Enable Active Monitoring.
  • Click Yes in the confirmation box.
